Melissa Clothing Bundle - Jasmina

Unfortunately I can't give this product a good review. It simply did not work as expected. However the vendor was incredibly helpful and gracious. She was polite and understanding through all of our discussions regarding the product. The one and only disappointment I had with the vendor herself was that she did seem unwilling to take the feedback I gave into consideration and seemed to just write it off as me being an unskilled user. - Which really was not the case.

1. Directions specifically state that I should have V4 selected when loading clothing items into the scene. If I do so I find that it has absolutely no effect on how the clothing works. I still have to conform to the figure. This seems redundant.

2. The lack of limits on the dials renders the dials completely useless. I have to manually type in the value that I want rather than just being able to try out different dial settings. In Poser this makes the process tedious, but in another render program Carrara the dial limits were available.

3. Many many dials are included that do nothing for the figure itself. Examples: BreastIn BreastOut. Since there are merchant utilities available that will strip out unnecessary dials for vendors than it is hard to understand why they are there. They create additional confusion trying to find which dials will actually work.

4. Product advertisement claims that the clothing will follow any morph to V4, yet it only does so with great distortion and no way to fix that distortion. Examples are all of the Full Body morphs for V4. When any of these are applied to V4 the straps on the chest of the dress become buried in V4s chest - ie these morphs do not work correctly or as expected. - there are no adjustment morphs included to fix this. You can not use any neck or upper torso morphs on V4 and expect this to fit correctly. There are also issues in the glute and abdomen areas.

5. Melissa shoes do not conform properly every time and when they do, they do not fit correctly. I am required to set the foot for shoe dial on V4 to 2.0 in order to get a proper fit. The straps fly off and render the shoe useless unless you apply the no strap pose.

6. Melissa stockings have poke through in the lower calf area above the akles.

7. Readme was generically named. ie named "readme" so of course the unzip requested me to write over others named the same. By this time all vendors should be aware of the need to name all files uniquely. There is really no excuse for this.

8. No template included. Only material shaders provided so it becomes even more difficult to create a texture template for this figure. I am forced to map it myself if I want to create additional textures.

These fit issues are more of a problem due to the fact that A. they are not working properly on an unmorphed v4 and B. there are no included adjustment morphs for them.

The area where I am pleased with the clothing is in the movement morphs that you have created. This is a unique features and is not available in most clothing for V4. This nearly makes up for all the issues with the morphs. The vendor is most certainly on the right track for creating clothing that has features nobody else provides but the major morph issues need to be addressed.
